Matthew Owen's Football World is finally here

Hello everyone,
I'm Matt Owen and welcome to my football world! My head is filled with football punditry, garb, anecdotes and opinions which are sometimes controversial, sometimes comically constructed and sometimes plain nonsense. What is certain is that this blog will communicate to you the reader, the messy goal line clearance and pinball that exists in my mind with regards to the 'beautiful game'. The timing of this is also interesting as we enter a World Cup tournament in South Africa, with only Spain playing at optimum level (most recently). Hopefully England will put on a good show; an African team will do well, all the North Korean players will live to a ripe old age regardless of how they perform and we'll all enjoy the BBQ's, 250ml beers and glorious sunshine of the Summer. It's unlikely that all of these will happen so I'll sign off today by saying that I look forward to interacting with you all.
